K9 Essentials w/ Tricks
All Cedar Valley K9 training is based on the principals of learning and development through positive reinforcement and effective communication.
Our essentials courses are for dogs 6 months and older who are still learning the basics of obedience or need a refresher. There are two levels of essentials. Level I is our starter course. Level II builds on the foundations in Level I and introduces more advanced commands and human-K9 communication.
Both courses include 6 one hour training sessions and are conducted at the Cedar Valley K9 centre. The maximum number of students for courses is limited to 6, so we can provide individual attention to each and ensure training goals are met.

K9 Essentials Level I
Course Information
This six week class is for dogs 6 months or older who are still learning the basics of obedience or maybe need a refresher. There is no prerequisite class for K9 Essentials Level I.
Hours: 1 hour per week for six weeks.
Maximum: 6 students
Prerequisite: None
Registration fee: $175 (plus GST)
Wednesdays 8:15pm-9:15pm and Thursdays 7pm-8pm. Saturdays and Sundays 10:30am-11:30am

K9 Essentials Tricks Class
Course Information
Boost your dog’s confidence by teaching them how to learn!
Utilize precision marker training and methods to capture and shape your dog’s behavior in this fun 6-week course that focuses on advancing your communication with your dog.
It’s all tricks!
Hours: 1 hour per week for six weeks.
Maximum: 6 students
Prerequisite: None
Registration fee: $175 (plus GST)

Vaccination Requirements
All dogs must have vaccinations for canine distemper, canine parvovirus and rabies within the last three years. We also accept serum antibody titer tests.
